Kemang, Jakarta Selatan, 15 August 2026 — Mad Dog Battalion Art Gallery officially marked its Grand Opening on 15 August 2026 through an exclusive private gathering attended by approximately 50 invited guests, including selected stakeholders, collectors, and individuals from the creative and business communities.
Held privately, the Grand Opening served as the first introduction of Mad Dog Battalion to a selected audience, presenting more than 30 artworks, ranging from sculptures and art objects to paintings. The collection introduces a distinctive visual language built around bold forms, cultural references, contemporary objects, and strong artistic presence.
The artworks presented at the opening were created by Ziq, Founder and Owner of Mad Dog Battalion Art Gallery, whose practice explores the relationship between contemporary culture, identity, power, luxury, and objects that carry strong symbolic meaning.
The Grand Opening showcased more than 30 works across different forms, with sculpture and painting forming the core of the inaugural collection.
The selection reflects Ziq's approach as an artist: transforming recognizable objects, cultural symbols, and contemporary references into artworks that challenge the way they are traditionally perceived.
Rather than following a single aesthetic formula, the collection embraces contrast—luxury and rebellion, beauty and tension, culture and popular imagery, elegance and rawness.
